A rearranged "mostly you" is better than "no you". Sometimes the transporter was used to escape some life-threatening danger.
It reminds me of the line from The Princess Bride (1987), "It just so happens that your friend here is only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive."
You can do pretty well even if only "slightly alive" :)
Someone (perhaps Neil) should collect all of the aphorisms from Star Trek that could be used as guiding philosophies toward how we approach life. "Circumstances got you down? Reverse the polarity!" or instead of "Seize the day" people could use "Warp factor 9" or "Full speed ahead" or any of the other similar phrases that are used in the show. Of course, to do this well, you'd have to re-watch the entire cannon with an eye toward collecting those phrases. Yes, this is totally a job for Neil.
The Darmok episode alone probably has 20 different expressions that could be used for this series. Poor Neil. He's going to be as busy as "Shaka, when the walls fell."

Ha! Yes!
I have a pretty McCoy attitude about it, but when there are shields etc, reversing the polarity always seems to work.
YES. Reverse the polarity!
Always!! It never fails haha

Pardon me while I go write up a book proposal…
Now, I wish Substack had a laughing emoji.
Yes this is a large injustice >.<
Please, look at me Neil, lmao, I hope you actually do this hahahah.

PLEASE HAHAHAHAH
If anyone else does it, I refuse. Only Neil.
In all honesty that would be hilarious, lmao.
“Warp factor 9. But not 10. Because lizards.”
"Only Neil" that's basically a nice way of saying that we're red-shirting him.
But not like- in the “we want him to die” way, HA (that’s funny)
