Welcome to Star Trekking — random intersections in the final frontier.
Welcome to the ninth day of unboxing the Trek Advent calendar from Insight Editions.
Today I asked Bing Image Creator to give us Spock relaxing on the Galileo 7.
Yes, it’s time to de-stress yourself.
And remember that this post contains spoilers for the contents of the advent calendar, so proceed at your own risk.
Day 9’s gift is a Galileo 7 squooshy stress relief thingy. How’s that for a description?
Yes, it’s super squishy.
I’m sure you know that the Galileo was built specifically as a way to sell model kits.
Of course these days you can get super fancy versions.
And comfy versions.
And, of course, the classic Happy Holidays ornament.
And the actual full size shuttlecraft was restored a few years back.
What do you have to say about that, Mr.Boma?
Now go and relax, because after all, the human adventure is just beginning.

I still have my Hallmark Galileo Shuttlecraft. It is hanging from my ceiling and gets plugged in every holiday season. I am amazed that it still works.
A squishable stress-relief Galileo shuttle is BRILLIANT, considering how many stressful situations the Galileo and the Galileo II saw.
So, where do you stand - is the episode title "The 'Galileo' Seven" (as I and all right-thinking Trekkies think <g>, referring to the number in the crew) or "The 'Galileo Seven'", as though the shuttle were somehow the seventh aboard the Enterprise named "Galileo"?
